Bowhunter Safety Course @ the BLFGA

The NYS Bowhunter Education course is required for hunters who use a bow or crossbow to hunt deer or bear. While this course is not required for using a bow or crossbow to hunt small game or turkey, DEC encourages you to take this course to learn bow and tree stand safety techniques
NOTE All courses require the completion of homework prior to attending the course. If you do not complete the homework you cannot complete the course. Manuals with homework sheet will be available at the club in a clear tot on the front deck or on line. If you do the online class use the free choice option.
IMPORTANT MINIMUM AGE FOR COURSE: 11 YEARS (Minimum age for a license is 12 years).
