The Black Lake Fish & Game Assn. now has 2(+) 100-target sporting clays courses open for shooting.
Sporting Clays is the fastest growing, most fun and exciting shooting sport in America. It is a hunter's game as well as an intense target sport, combining a walk in the woods with simulated game shots from soaring high doves to targets that roll and hop on the ground like rabbits. Our well-groomed sporting clays courses offer an incredible variety of targets.
We shoot sporting clays:
April - August, Saturdays at 9am and by appointment.
September - May, by appointment.
Other times are available on request and we will do special events such as bachelors, office, or family parties, etc.
We have a clubhouse with full facilities.
The cost is $25 for 100 sporting targets - $3 for a round of trap.
Jay Treat is a Level-Two Certified Sporting Clays Instructor and is available by appointment for lessons at the club, April - September.
We shoot trap at 7pm Wednesday evenings on our lighted, automatic, 16yd. trap range w/voice release (May - September).
